About Me

Like my parents, Jane and Dennis Fonfara, I am an artistic, creative soul who delights in thinking outside of boxes and lines to come up with fresh ideas and concepts in all areas of life. Since I was a child, I have had two true loves – community service and the arts. When I was at the Lab School, I was one of the founders of the Force of Altruism, which gave students the opportunity to learn by directly engaging and volunteering with the Laramie community. My classmates and I planned food drives for and served food at Laramie's soup kitchen, sorted cans and clothes at Interfaith Good Samaritan and The Cottage, and organized inventory for the Safe Project, among numerous other initiatives. While I have always gone out of my way to make the world a better place, the skills, connections, and experience I gained from the two years I had with the Force of Altruism lit my fire, and in the years since I have spent countless hours providing peer support during crisis situations, connecting people in need with resources to assist them, and doing my best to pass on what I know in the hopes of empowering others to do their part for their community.

In my free time, I own and operate a video game development studio, which has blessed me with the opportunity to spend my life creating and bringing joy to the world through my art, as well as sing soprano in the Civic Chorus, write novels and short stories, and practice new graphic design techniques with programs such as Photoshop. When I’m not doing any of this, you can usually find me watching educational videos and documentaries, playing a variety of games, or playing with one or both of my two cats, Loki and Sommerfeld.
